The Ciena XCVR-Q80V31 is a high-performance 40G QSFP+ transceiver designed for seamless data transmission in demanding network environments. Built for long-range connectivity, this module supports 40GBase-ER4 standards and operates over single-mode fiber (SMF) with an impressive reach of up to 40 km. It utilizes four LAN-WDM wavelengths (1271 nm, 1291 nm, 1311 nm, and 1331 nm) to ensure reliable communication while maintaining low power consumption. The hot-swappable QSFP+ form factor allows for easy integration into compatible Ciena networking equipment, reducing downtime during upgrades or replacements.

This transceiver supports data rates of 41.2 Gbps and is equipped with an LC duplex connector for efficient optical signal transmission. Its digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) capabilities provide real-time performance metrics, enabling proactive network management.
