The Ciena XCVR-Q10V03 is a high-performance 40GbE QSFP+ transceiver designed for reliable and efficient data transmission in high-bandwidth network environments. Built for compatibility with Ciena networking equipment, this module supports a 40GBASE-LR4 connection over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 10 kilometers. It operates on four independent optical channels, each transmitting at 10Gbps, which are multiplexed into a single fiber pair for seamless long-distance communication. The hot-swappable design ensures easy installation and replacement without network downtime.

Equipped with LC duplex connectors, this transceiver utilizes wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) to optimize data flow while minimizing fiber usage. It operates within a standard QSFP+ power envelope, ensuring energy efficiency without compromising performance.
