Description

The Cisco VWIC-2MFT-G703 is a dual-port multiflex trunk voice/WAN interface card designed for Cisco modular routers. Built to support both voice and data applications, this card allows seamless integration of T1/E1 G.703 leased line connectivity, making it ideal for enterprises seeking flexibility in WAN deployments. Its compact form factor is engineered for compatibility with Cisco 2800, 2900, 3800, and 3900 Series Integrated Services Routers. Each port can be configured independently for either voice or data, offering scalable performance in evolving network environments.

This used network module features two G.703-compliant E1 ports with 120-ohm balanced or 75-ohm unbalanced interfaces, supporting both framed and unframed operation. It supports clear channel data rates of up to 2.048 Mbps per port, with support for channelized E1 configurations when paired with a digital signal processor (DSP) module. The card includes integrated CSU/DSU functionality, reducing the need for external hardware and simplifying deployment.
