The Cisco UCS-RAID9271CV-8I is a robust RAID controller designed to deliver high-performance storage management for enterprise-class systems. Built on the LSI MegaRAID 9271CV-8i platform, this controller supports up to eight internal SAS/SATA drives through two mini-SAS SFF-8087 connectors, offering scalable storage options for demanding data center environments. It features a dual-core RAID-on-Chip (ROC) processor and 1GB DDR3 cache memory with CacheVault technology, ensuring data integrity and rapid access speeds even during power loss. The low-profile form factor and PCIe 3.0 x8 interface make it compatible with a wide range of Cisco UCS servers and other compatible systems.

This RAID controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, giving users flexibility in configuring storage for performance, redundancy, or a balance of both. It includes support for advanced features like SSD caching, Online Capacity Expansion, and Consistency Check for improved reliability.
