Description

The Juniper SRX3600BASE is a high-performance, mid-sized services gateway designed for enterprise and service provider environments requiring robust security and scalability. Housed in a 3U rack-mountable chassis, the SRX3600BASE supports modular expansion with up to seven slots for I/O cards, allowing for flexible deployment in growing networks. It is built to deliver up to 30 Gbps of firewall throughput and supports up to 175,000 new sessions per second, making it ideal for data center edge or aggregation layer security. The device features redundant power supplies and fans for increased reliability and uptime.

Equipped with Junos OS, the SRX3600BASE supports a wide range of security services including firewall, VPN, IPS, and unified threat management. It includes a Routing Engine (RE) and System Control Board (SCB) for centralized management and control, along with high-speed fabric for efficient data transfer across modules. The chassis supports a variety of interface cards including Gigabit Ethernet, 10GbE, and other high-speed options depending on configuration.
