Description

The Cisco SFP-10G-SR-S is a high-performance 10GBASE-SR SFP+ transceiver module designed for short-range fiber optic networking. Built to deliver reliable and high-speed data transmission, it supports a maximum link length of 300 meters over OM3 multimode fiber and 400 meters over OM4. The hot-swappable design ensures easy installation and replacement without disrupting network operations. With a compact form factor and low power consumption, this module is ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, and high-bandwidth applications.

Engineered for compatibility with Cisco networking equipment, the SFP-10G-SR-S operates on a wavelength of 850nm and utilizes LC duplex connectors for seamless integration. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), allowing real-time monitoring of critical parameters such as optical power, temperature, and voltage. The module adheres to industry standards, including IEEE 802.3ae and SFF-8431, ensuring broad interoperability with other 10G networking devices.
