Description

The Juniper S4048-ON is a high-performance, open networking switch designed for data center environments that demand low latency, high throughput, and scalability. Built in a compact 1U form factor, it features 48 fixed 10GbE SFP+ ports and 6 40GbE QSFP+ uplink ports, making it ideal for top-of-rack deployments. Designed for flexibility, it supports ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), allowing users to deploy the network operating system of their choice.

This switch is powered by a Broadcom Trident II+ chipset and is equipped with a quad-core x86 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and dual redundant power supplies for enhanced reliability. The S4048-ON supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, and MLAG, making it suitable for both traditional and virtualized network environments.
