Description

The Cisco QSFP-100G-LR-S is a high-performance 100GBASE-LR4 transceiver designed for long-range data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Built in a compact QSFP28 form factor, this module supports a maximum link length of up to 10 kilometers using LC duplex connectors. It operates on four separate optical lanes, each transmitting at 25 Gbps, which are multiplexed into a single 100 Gbps data stream. With low power consumption and compliance with IEEE 802.3ba standards, this transceiver is ideal for high-speed networking environments requiring efficiency and reliability.

Designed for seamless integration into Cisco networking equipment, this module supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of operating conditions. It operates within a wavelength range of 1295 nm to 1310 nm, ensuring stable and high-quality signal transmission. The QSFP-100G-LR-S is hot-swappable, allowing for easy installation and replacement without disrupting network operations.
