Description

The Juniper PAR-ND-MX304 is a compact, high-performance router designed for service providers and enterprises seeking scalable edge and aggregation solutions. Built with a space-efficient 2RU form factor, the MX304 offers exceptional throughput and port density, making it ideal for data center interconnects, metro aggregation, and peering applications. It supports up to 4.8 Tbps of system capacity and features flexible interface options including 100GbE, 400GbE, and legacy 10/25/40GbE ports. The chassis is engineered for high availability with redundant power supplies and field-replaceable fan trays.

Powered by the Junos OS and leveraging Juniper’s Trio 6 ASICs, the MX304 delivers advanced routing, traffic engineering, and automation capabilities. It includes support for segment routing, EVPN-VXLAN, and robust Layer 2/3 VPN services. The router is equipped with four modular interface card (MIC) slots, allowing for customizable port configurations to meet evolving network demands.
