The Cisco Nexus 7018 (N7K-C7018) is a high-performance, modular data center switch designed to meet the demands of large-scale networking environments. Designed for high-density 10, 40, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet deployments, the Nexus 7018 delivers low-latency switching with a fabric capacity of up to 15 terabits per second. It supports advanced features such as Virtual Device Contexts (VDCs), FabricPath, and MPLS, making it suitable for complex data center architectures. With multiple slots for I/O modules and fabric modules, it allows for flexible configuration to meet specific networking requirements. The switch is also compatible with Cisco NX-OS, providing a stable and feature-rich operating system for simplified management and automation.
