The Cisco Meraki MX68CW is a compact and robust all-in-one security and SD-WAN appliance designed for small branch deployments. Housed in a sleek, fanless metal chassis, it combines enterprise-grade security with integrated LTE, wireless, and wired connectivity. The unit features dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi, a built-in CAT 6 LTE modem with nano-SIM slot for cellular failover, and 13 Ethernet ports—12 of which are Gigabit RJ45 and one configurable WAN port. Its quiet, low-profile design makes it ideal for environments where space and noise are considerations.

This model supports advanced Layer 7 traffic shaping, auto VPN, and threat protection powered by Cisco’s cloud-managed Meraki dashboard. It is capable of throughput speeds up to 450 Mbps and supports up to 50 concurrent VPN tunnels, making it suitable for growing networks. The MX68CW includes a stateful firewall, content filtering, and intrusion detection/prevention (IDS/IPS) features. When purchasing used, buyers should ensure the device is unclaimed and eligible for a new Meraki license to access cloud management and firmware updates.
