Description

The Cisco MX68CW-HW-WW is a compact yet powerful all-in-one security and SD-WAN appliance designed for small to medium-sized branch deployments. It integrates enterprise-grade security features, including a stateful firewall, advanced malware protection, content filtering, and intrusion detection/prevention. Built with a sleek, fanless design, it operates quietly and efficiently in office environments. The unit also includes a built-in LTE modem and dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless access point, making it ideal for locations requiring wireless connectivity and cellular backup.

This model offers 10 Ethernet ports—two of which are WAN-capable—to support multiple uplinks and maximize redundancy. It is powered by a quad-core processor and supports up to 450 Mbps of VPN throughput, ensuring fast and secure connections across distributed networks. The MX68CW-HW-WW is managed through the Meraki cloud platform, enabling centralized configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. When buying used, ensure the device is unclaimed from the previous Meraki dashboard to allow for re-registration and full functionality.
