Description

The Cisco MR84-HW is a high-performance, cloud-managed outdoor access point designed for demanding wireless environments. Built with a rugged, weather-resistant enclosure, the MR84 is ideal for stadiums, campuses, and industrial settings. It features a 4×4:4 MU-MIMO architecture and supports dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi, delivering data rates up to 2.5 Gbps. This model includes four external N-type antenna connectors, allowing for flexible antenna configurations to optimize coverage.

Under the hood, the MR84-HW is powered by a quad-core processor and includes integrated Layer 7 application visibility and traffic shaping. It supports seamless roaming, automatic RF optimization, and advanced security features such as WPA3 encryption and integrated WIDS/WIPS. The unit is powered via 802.3at PoE+ and includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with link aggregation for redundancy and performance.
