Description

The Cisco MR66-HW is a rugged, cloud-managed wireless access point designed for high-performance networking in outdoor and industrial environments. Housed in a durable, weather-resistant enclosure, the MR66-HW is built to withstand harsh conditions while delivering reliable dual-band 802.11n wireless coverage. It supports 2×2 MIMO technology with two spatial streams, offering data rates of up to 600 Mbps. Integrated antennas and support for external antennas provide deployment flexibility based on coverage needs.

This model includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation without separate power lines. The MR66-HW features automatic RF optimization, Layer 7 traffic shaping, and seamless integration with the Meraki cloud management platform for centralized configuration and monitoring. Security features include WPA2-Enterprise encryption, rogue AP detection, and integrated firewall capabilities. Ideal for campuses, warehouses, and outdoor venues, the MR66-HW remains a reliable choice for expanding wireless coverage in challenging environments.
