Description

The Infinera GAM-C2 is a compact, high-capacity optical transport platform designed to deliver scalable bandwidth in metro and regional networks. Housed in a 2RU chassis, it supports a modular architecture with two universal slots for a variety of service and line cards, making it ideal for flexible deployment scenarios. The system is engineered for carrier-grade reliability and features redundant, hot-swappable power supplies and fan trays to ensure uninterrupted operation. Its front-to-back airflow and NEBS Level 3 compliance make it suitable for installation in both central offices and remote locations.

Technically, the GAM-C2 supports up to 200 Gbps of capacity per slot and is compatible with Infinera’s DTN-X and XTM Series platforms, allowing seamless integration into existing optical networks. It supports a wide range of client interfaces, including 1/10/100 Gigabit Ethernet, OTU2/OTU4, and Fibre Channel, depending on the installed cards. The chassis accommodates a variety of transceivers, including CFP, SFP+, and QSFP+, which can be configured to meet specific network requirements.
