The Infinera FXP100GOTN is a high-performance optical transport network module designed to deliver 100G coherent transmission capabilities across long-haul and metro networks. Engineered for use in Infinera DTN-X platforms, this module supports advanced OTU4 line interfaces and is built to handle high-capacity data transport with exceptional reliability. Its compact, plug-in form factor makes it ideal for dense network environments where space and power efficiency are critical. The FXP100GOTN includes integrated FEC (Forward Error Correction) and supports flexible grid wavelengths for optimized spectral efficiency.

This unit features a fully integrated 100G coherent optical transponder with support for multi-protocol client interfaces, including 100GBASE-LR4 and OTU4. It is equipped with Infinera’s photonic integrated circuit (PIC) technology, reducing the number of discrete components and improving overall system reliability. The module supports remote provisioning and monitoring via SNMP and CLI, enabling simplified network management.
