The Cisco Firepower 1150 (FPR1150) is a compact yet powerful next-generation firewall designed for small to mid-sized enterprise deployments. Housed in a 1RU rack-mountable chassis, it features a fanless design for quiet operation and includes eight integrated RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, along with two SFP+ ports for high-speed fiber connectivity. Built to deliver robust threat defense, the FPR1150 supports stateful firewalling, advanced malware protection, and deep packet inspection through Cisco’s Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) software. Its modular architecture allows for flexible configuration and scalability as network demands grow.

Powered by a multi-core x86 processor, the FPR1150 supports up to 1.9 Gbps of firewall throughput and up to 1.5 Gbps with threat inspection enabled. The device includes 8 GB of RAM and 200 GB of SSD storage, providing ample resources for policy enforcement and logging. Administrators can manage the appliance via Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) or locally through the Firepower Device Manager (FDM).
