Description

The Cisco Firepower 1010 (FPR1010) is a compact, next-generation firewall designed for small offices and branch locations requiring robust security without sacrificing performance. Housed in a durable, desktop-friendly chassis, the FPR1010 combines advanced threat protection with integrated VPN, firewall, and routing capabilities. It features eight RJ-45 ports (including two Power over Ethernet [PoE] ports) and one SFP port, allowing for flexible network configurations and uplink options. Its fanless design ensures silent operation, making it ideal for quiet office environments.

Powered by Cisco’s Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) software, the FPR1010 supports stateful inspection, intrusion prevention, URL filtering, and malware defense. With support for up to 650 Mbps of firewall throughput and 100 Mbps of VPN throughput, it is well-suited for networks with moderate traffic demands. The device includes 4 GB of RAM and 8 GB of flash storage, with a multicore CPU architecture optimized for security processing. When buying used, ensure the unit includes its power adapter and has been deregistered from any Smart Licensing accounts.
