Description

The Cisco EHWIC-VA-DSL-M is a compact and reliable Enhanced High-Speed WAN Interface Card designed for business-class DSL connectivity. It supports both ADSL2/2+ and VDSL2 standards, making it a flexible choice for various broadband deployments. This module provides high-speed internet access over existing copper telephone lines, ideal for small to medium-sized branch offices. Its integration into Cisco ISR G2 routers ensures streamlined network performance and simplified management.

Built with a single RJ-11 port, the EHWIC-VA-DSL-M supports Annex A and Annex M configurations, offering downstream rates up to 100 Mbps on VDSL2 and up to 24 Mbps on ADSL2+. Features include support for ATM and PTM modes, Dynamic Rate Repartitioning (DRR), and advanced diagnostics for line quality monitoring. The card operates with low power consumption and is hot-swappable for convenient maintenance. Compatible with Cisco 1900, 2900, and 3900 Series Integrated Services Routers, it provides a cost-effective solution for enhancing WAN connectivity in a scalable network environment.
