Description

The Cisco CPAK-100GE-LR4 is a high-performance 100GBASE-LR4 transceiver module designed for long-range data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Built for large-scale networking environments, it supports a maximum link length of up to 10 kilometers and operates on four separate optical lanes, each transmitting at 25 Gbps. The module utilizes LC duplex connectors and complies with IEEE 802.3ba 100GBASE-LR4 standards, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of Cisco networking equipment. Its compact CPAK form factor reduces power consumption and increases port density compared to earlier transceiver models.

This transceiver supports a wavelength range of 1295 nm to 1310 nm, allowing efficient data transmission with minimal signal loss. With a power consumption of approximately 5.5W, it is an energy-efficient solution for high-speed networking applications. The hot-swappable design enables easy installation and replacement without disrupting network operations.
