Description

The Infinera CHM6-L8 is a high-capacity line card designed for the Infinera Groove G30 Network Disaggregation Platform, offering advanced optical transport capabilities for dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) networks. Engineered for scalability and efficiency, this unit supports up to 1.2 Tbps of line-side capacity across 6 x 200G coherent ports using Infinera’s sixth-generation Infinite Capacity Engine (ICE6) technology. Its compact form factor and modular design make it ideal for high-performance metro, regional, and long-haul applications. The CHM6-L8 supports flexible modulation formats and baud rates, enabling optimized reach and spectral efficiency.

This card features advanced digital signal processing (DSP), forward error correction (FEC), and integrated photonic components to ensure reliable, high-speed data transmission.
