Description

The Cisco AIR-CAP3702I is an enterprise-grade dual-band 802.11ac access point designed for high-performance wireless networking in demanding environments. Housed in a sleek, low-profile enclosure, it features internal antennas and supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, delivering data rates up to 1.3 Gbps. Built on the Cisco Aironet platform, it includes ClientLink 3.0 for improved performance with legacy devices and CleanAir technology to reduce RF interference. This model is ideal for dense user environments such as offices, schools, and retail spaces.

Equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port and PoE (Power over Ethernet) support, the AIR-CAP3702I simplifies installation and reduces cabling needs. It operates with a modular design, allowing for optional module upgrades such as the Wireless Security Module or Hyperlocation Module. The unit runs on Cisco’s Unified or Mobility Express software, offering flexible deployment options for both controller-based and standalone configurations. When buying used, ensure the access point has been reset and unregistered from previous Cisco SmartNet contracts for seamless integration into existing networks.
