The Juniper ACX5448-D-DC-AFO is a high-performance, carrier-grade access router designed for metro aggregation and edge networking. Built to support demanding service provider environments, it features a compact 1U form factor with front-to-back airflow, making it ideal for space-constrained deployments. The unit offers 48 small form-factor pluggable (SFP/SFP+) ports and 6 QSFP+ ports, allowing for flexible 1GbE, 10GbE, and 40GbE configurations. With dual redundant DC power supplies and field-replaceable fan trays, it ensures high availability and operational reliability.

Powered by the Junos OS, the ACX5448-D-DC-AFO supports advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including MPLS, Segment Routing, and timing protocols like SyncE and IEEE 1588v2 for mobile backhaul applications. It is equipped with a powerful control and forwarding plane, providing up to 800 Gbps of switching capacity and 360 Mpps throughput.
