Description

The Calix 854G-2 is a compact, high-performance GPON ONT designed for residential and small business fiber deployments. Housed in a sleek, wall-mountable chassis, this unit supports both wired and wireless connectivity with four Gigabit Ethernet ports and integrated 2.4 GHz 802.11n Wi-Fi. Its fanless design ensures quiet operation, making it suitable for in-home installations where noise levels are a concern. The device also includes support for voice services via two RJ-11 ports for VoIP functionality.

Built to deliver reliable broadband access, the 854G-2 supports downstream speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps and upstream speeds of 1.25 Gbps over a GPON network. It features advanced security protocols, including WPA2 for wireless and VLAN tagging for traffic segmentation. The unit is powered via a 12V DC input and includes a built-in battery backup connector for uninterrupted service during power outages. Ideal for reuse in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) environments, this ONT provides a cost-effective solution for expanding or upgrading existing network infrastructure.
