Description

The Infinera 1X2ROADM100G is a compact, high-performance Reconfigurable Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer (ROADM) module designed for flexible and scalable optical transport networks. Engineered for 100G optical networks, it enables dynamic wavelength routing, allowing for efficient bandwidth utilization and simplified network management. This unit supports colorless, directionless, and contentionless (CDC) architecture, making it ideal for agile metro and long-haul deployments. Key technical specifications include support for 96 DWDM channels in the C-band with flexible grid spacing, enabling high-capacity signal routing with minimal latency. The 1×2 switching functionality allows signals to be routed between two directions with full bidirectional support.
