The Cisco 15454-VXC-10G is a high-capacity optical cross-connect card designed for the Cisco ONS 15454 Multiservice Transport Platform (MSTP). Engineered for dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) networks, this 10-Gbps virtual cross-connect module enables efficient, flexible grooming and switching of optical traffic at the electrical layer. Its compact design supports up to 80 Gbps of non-blocking switching capacity per card, making it ideal for high-performance metro and long-haul transport applications. The card fits seamlessly into the ONS 15454 chassis, offering carrier-grade reliability and scalability.

The 15454-VXC-10G features eight 10-Gbps ports, supporting both client and line-side interfaces with SFP+ optics for modularity and ease of maintenance.
